Vision and Mission

The Institute Piwik of Coptic Hymns and Music aims to produce a generation deeply aware of the hymns of their Coptic Orthodox Church. This includes hymns of the Divine Liturgy and the Praise, progressing through levels to encompass the memorization and preservation of the long hymns, thereby safeguarding this great heritage of our Coptic Orthodox Church.

The Study System within the Institute​

The study program at the Institute extends over 5 years, with 3 terms each year, students receives a certificate at the end of each level.

  • The Rite of the Divine Liturgy, the Annual Praise, Principles of the Coptic Language, and Musical
  • The Rites of Occasions and Liturgies.
    Upon completion, the student receives a Certificate of Study Completion from the Institute.
  • Specialization in memorizing long hymns to revive and preserve them.
    Afterwards, the student is awarded a Diploma in Coptic Hymns and Music from the Institute.
